Bulldogs sign Thomas Neu

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2005-born forward, Thomas Neu, to a letter of intent for the 2023-2024 AJHL season.

Neu is a Hartland, Missouri native who spent last season playing for Mount St. Charles Academy U18 AAA.

“I’m really excited to be a Bulldog, the coaches, the staff and the city looks awesome,” said Neu. “I can’t wait to travel to Alberta in August and start my junior career.”

Blackfalds’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, says that Neu’s strong qualities as a player, especially his two-way ability, will make him an effective AJHLer.

“Thomas is a 200-foot player with tremendous offensive ability. His ability to defend down low in the defensive zone as a centreman and then get up in the rush and create makes him an exceptional asset,” said Parada.

Parada went on to commend Neu’s skating ability and high hockey IQ, saying it allows him to be a threat every time he touches the puck.

The entire Bulldogs organization would like to welcome Thomas and his family to Blackfalds!
