Bulldogs Announce Showpass as New Ticket Provider
The Blackfalds Bulldogs will be working with a new ticket provider for the 2022-23 AJHL season.
(Blackfalds, Alta.) – Showpass will be the official ticket provider for all Bulldogs hockey games this season. The new platform will offer fans an engaging experience when purchasing tickets, with various payment options, seat choices, ticket exchange/trade and more.
Over 400 season tickets were sold for the Bulldogs inaugural season in 2021-22, which Director of Community Relationships and Partnerships for the Bulldogs, Michelle Brown, says was a great litmus test for the new expansion team. With the new ticket system in place via Showpass, it is expected to encourage even more fan engagement this season, which is vital for the success of any team. Brown expressed her excitement about what year No.2 has to offer in that regard.
“It’s going to be seamless,” Brown commented. “A much more fluid and interactive platform for our fans, whether buying season tickets or just single game seats. Showpass has a really slick platform that will provide great engagement for our customers and we are excited to be able to offer this in our second year. We are really grateful to our season ticket holders because they are the backbone of our fanbase and they drive our engagement, and we are just so thankful for them.”
The Bulldogs teamed up with Tickets Alberta during their inaugural season in 2021-22, and despite moving on this year, Brown wanted to express her gratitude for their support and professionalism during the inaugural year.
“Tickets Alberta were great, super supportive and very helpful,” explained Brown. “They got us through that inaugural year when we didn’t really know what to expect and we were still working from the ground up. They did a great job in helping us execute a successful first season.”
The Bulldogs are currently completing an ‘audit of the system’ before announcing an official launch date for purchasing and renewals, but season ticket holders from last year can rest assured that their relevant information and seating preferences have already been uploaded into the new database.
“As of right now with Showpass, for all of our inaugural season ticket holders, their accounts have now been transferred over and we have been able to populate all their seat data into their accounts,” explains Brown. “So we are days away from being able to complete the season ticket process and our season tickets holders from last year will be hearing from us very soon, to know when they can go ahead and complete the process for their renewal.”
