(Blackfalds, Alta.) – The Blackfalds Bulldogs have added depth to their blue-line with the acquisition of Jordan Edwards.

Edwards (Saskatoon, SK) is a solid two-way defenseman who plays a physical brand of hockey, with a great first-pass ability and proven leadership skills. He is stay-at-home style defenseman, who appeared in 43 games for the Cowichan Capitals of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL.)

Edwards played his minor hockey with the Saskatoon Blazers U18 AAA (2017-2019) and appeared in 20 games for the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 18U AAA in 2019-20. Joining the Bulldogs will be the second tour of the Alberta Junior Hockey League for Edwards who, prior to joining the Capitals last season, appeared in 7 games with the Drumheller Dragons in the pandemic shortened season in 2020-21.
