Bulldogs Sign Jack McAra

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2005-born forward, Jack McAra.

The Burlington, Ontario product played for the Bonnyville Pontiacs in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) last season where he scored 10 goals and 35 points in 51 games played. Last season was the six-foot-one, 175-pound forward’s first full season in junior hockey.

Bulldogs’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, stated, “We are very excited to sign Jack for next season. He had a great rookie season in the AJHL last year and I am looking forward to him making the jump next year to the BCHL with us.”

Parada continued, “Jack is a big body who skates well and has a good hockey IQ and skill set to go along with it.”

McAra stated, “I’m super excited and grateful for the chance to join the Bulldogs next season and the BCHL. I can’t wait to get down there and get started in September.”

Parada added, “I am looking forward to seeing Jack in a Bulldogs jersey next season.”
