Bulldogs Make Roster Moves

(Blackfalds, AB) – The Blackfalds Bulldogs have acquired (F) Kasey Hiemstra from the Olds Grizzlys of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) in exchange for Future Considerations.

Hiemstra (‘02) scored 16 points (9 goals, 7 assists) this season in 21 games for Olds. 

Bulldogs Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, is excited to add Hiemstra to the Bulldogs, “Kasey brings a combination of size and speed to our forward group. Kasey is a veteran player who can play in all situations and contribute offensively as well.” 

The Bulldogs would like to welcome Hiemstra and his family to the organization.

In an additional transaction, the Bulldogs have traded (D) Conner Chalmers to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons in exchange for Future Considerations.

The Bulldogs would like to thank Chalmers for his contributions on and off the ice and wish him the best of luck with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.

The next game for the Blackfalds Bulldogs is Saturday, November 12th at the Eagle Builders Centre against the Olds Grizzlys. Puck drop at 6:00 pm.
