Bulldogs Acquire (D) Tyler Teasdale from Blues

(Blackfalds, Alta.)-  The Blackfalds Bulldogs have acquired defenseman, Tyler Teasdale, from the Winnipeg Blues of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), in a multi-team deal.

Three teams were involved in this transaction. The Blues acquired goaltender Brock Moroz and a Player Development Fee (PDF), while the Swan Valley Stampeders receive an additional PDF.

Bulldogs assistant GM, Adam West, is excited to add Teasdale (’03) to the team for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

“Tyler is a veteran defender with over 110 junior hockey games under his belt. He is a smooth-skating, steady, two-way defender. His experience gives him a good level of calmness while defending and moving the puck up ice. With lots of power-play time under his belt, we could see Tyler used in all situations,” West explained. “We are very happy we were able to get this deal done and want to thank Barry Wolff (Stampeders) and Alex Mandolidis (Blues) on working together to finalize this.”

Teasdale (Winnipeg, MB) spent last season with the Blues, appearing in 54 games, registering 20 points (5G, 15A) with 38 penalty-minutes (PIM).
