Tanner & Kody Willick Acquired from Dragons
(Blackfalds, Alta.) – The Blackfalds Bulldogs have acquired defenseman, Tanner Willick and forward, Kody Willick from the Drumheller Dragons in exchange for Kai Matthew and Connor Poffenroth.
Tanner Willick (’03) appeared in 52 regular season games for the Dragons last season (2021-22), scoring 37 points (9G, 28A) in that span. The 19-year-old defenseman from Saskatoon, SK is expected to generate extra offense on the blue line for the Bulldogs this season.
At 18-years-old and heading into his second full season of junior, Kody Willick (’03) is poised to provide added scoring depth up front for the Bulldogs this year. Last season, with Drumheller (2021-22), Willick (Saskatoon, SK) scored 7 goals, 16 assists for 23 points in 51 regular season games.
