Nikita Ivashchenko Signs with Bulldogs

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce that 2005-born forward, Nikita Ivashchenko, has signed with the team for the 2025-2026 BCHL season.

The Kharkiv, Ukraine product played for the Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) last season. He scored 23 goals and 50 points in 44 games. His 50 points made him the second-highest scorer on the North Stars team. Ivashchenko stands at six-foot-one and weighs 172 pounds.

Ivashchenko stated, “I’m thrilled to sign with the Bulldogs and join such a passionate and dedicated team. This opportunity means a lot to me, and I look forward to contributing to the team’s success and building great relationships with my new teammates and the community. Go Bulldogs!”

Bulldogs’ Director of Player Personnel, Al Parada, said, “We are very excited to get a player with Nikita’s skill set, size, and skating ability. Nikita was one of the top players in the SJHL last season in Battleford and his game should transition well to our league next year. I am looking forward to seeing him with the rest of our group this season.”
