Bulldogs Acquire Brady Smith

(Blackfalds, AB) The Bulldogs have acquired 2005-born goaltender Brady Smith from the Coquitlam Express in exchange for 2006-born forward Nolan DuPont.

Smith started his junior hockey career with the Coquitlam Express in the 2022-23 season before playing in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for 2 games that season with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and then the following two seasons. Last season, he split time with the Hurricanes, Moose Jaw Warriors, and Vancouver Giants. He had a 14-13-3 record between the three teams with a 3.57 goals against average and a 0.886 save percentage in 32 games played last season.

DuPont appeared in 10 games in the 2023-24 season with the Bulldogs after he was sidelined much of the season with an injury. This past season he played for the Calgary Canucks in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL).

The Bulldogs would like to welcome Brady and his family to the organization.
