Bulldogs Acquire Brown

(Blackfalds, AB) The Blackfalds Bulldogs have acquired 2003-born forward, Hunter Brown, from the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) in exchange for the CJHL Playing Rights to Ashton McNelly.

The rights to McNelly were acquired in an earlier move with the Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL) for future considerations.

Brown played 49 games with the Saints last season and scored 39 points (11 goals, 28 assists). He had 1 goal scored in 2 games played with the Saints this season.

Bulldogs’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, stated “We are very excited to acquire Hunter Browwn. He has been a player that has intrigued us for the past few seasons. Hunter brings a work ethic and skill set that will help our team this season.”

Parada continued, “He also brings leadership as a player who has been on a top team the past two seasons and knows what it takes to win.”

The Bulldogs would like to welcome Hunter Brown and his family to the Bulldogs Organization.
