Bulldogs Acquire Moskowitz and Morrow

(Blackfalds, AB) The Blackfalds Bulldogs have acquired 2003-born forward Edward Moskowitz and 2004-born goaltender Ethan Morrow from the Wellington Dukes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) in exchange for Future Considerations.

Bulldogs Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, is excited by the additions, “We know our returning players are going to take a step forward this year, but we were looking to add a player who could replace some of our scoring we lost from this past season and Eddie is that guy. He is a pure goal scorer with a pro shot and good skating ability.”

Parada continued “Eddie is also very good defensively and thinks the game very well and is a player that can be used in all situations he is going to fit into our group nicely next season. We all look forward to seeing Moskowitz on the back of a Bulldogs jersey this coming season.”

Moskowitz scored 71 points (33 goals, 38 assists) in 53 regular season games for Wellington.

Morrow represented Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge in Cornwall this past season. Parada stated, “Getting a chance to get one of the top Junior A goaltenders in Canada was a pretty easy decision to make when we knew we had an opportunity to get Ethan.”

Parada added, “Ethan will bring a veteran presence and confidence in net next season for us and we are extremely happy he will be in a Bulldogs jersey next season.”

Morrow played 27 regular season games for the Dukes and posted a 20-6-1 record with a 2.37 Goals Against Average and a 0.911 Save Percentage. He also recorded 3 shutouts during the regular season.

The Bulldogs would like to welcome Edward Moskowitz and Ethan Morrow and their families to the organization.
