Bulldogs Sign Josh Knittig

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2005-born forward, Josh Knittig, to a letter of intent for the 2023-2024 AJHL Season.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan product plays for the Saskatoon Blazers U18 AAA team in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL).

Knittig is looking forward to joining the Bulldogs, “Speaking with everyone in the Bulldogs organization allowed me to observe the winning attitude and team spirit that each player possessed. I was convinced to join the Bulldogs after speaking with the Willicks and hearing all the encouraging things they had to say about the team.”

Knitting continued, “In the short time the Bulldogs have been in the league, the team has progressed significantly, and I am ready to help them even more. I wanted to join this organization once I saw the stunning arena and all the resources they offer to assist in my player development on and off the ice. I am excited to improve as a player and support the team’s success.”

Bulldogs Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, is thrilled with the addition of Knittig, “Josh will bring speed and intensity to our forward group next season. Along with having a very high hockey IQ, Josh is also the captain and leader of one of the top U18 AAA programs in the country. We are very excited Josh chose Blackfalds to play his Junior A hockey next year and look forward to seeing him in a Bulldogs jersey.”

The entire Bulldogs organization would like to welcome Josh and his family to Blackfalds!
