Bulldogs Sign Collin Eschricht

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2004-born defenceman, Collin Eschricht, to a letter of intent for the 2023-2024 AJHL Season.

The Old Greenwich, Connecticut product plays for Brunswick School Bruins in the Preparatory United States High School (USHS-Prep).

Eschricht is looking forward to joining the Bulldogs, “After speaking with the coaches, staff and players, Blackfalds sounds like a community and team I want to play for. I am honoured and excited to become part of the Bulldogs organization and I look forward to contributing to the success of the team.”

Bulldogs Director of Hockey Operations Al Parada is excited to sign Eschricht to the team, “After watching Collin live at the St. Andrews Prep Tournament in January, I knew the rest of the staff would be excited when they watched video on Collin.”

Parada continued, “The Bulldogs organization is very excited that Collin chose Blackfalds to play his Junior hockey next year.” 

Parada had this to say about what Eschricht brings to the team, “Collin is a big, strong skating defenceman who prides himself on taking care of his own end first. Collin is a player who is very hard to play against and is calm with the puck and makes a great first pass out of his own end. He also has the skating ability to join the rush and contribute offensively as well. We can’t wait to see Collin in a Bulldogs jersey next season!”
