Bulldogs Acquire Patterson From Merritt

(Blackfalds, AB) The Blackfalds Bulldogs have acquired (D) Carter Patterson from the Merritt Centennials of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in exchange for a Player Development Fee.

Patterson (‘03) scored 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) this season in 16 games with Merritt.

Bulldogs Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, is excited to add Patterson to the Bulldogs, “He’s just going to bring a little bit more of a physical element to our back end.”

Carter is a good defender and makes a good first pass out of his own end,” Parada added. “He plays a solid defensive style and has the ability to jump into the play as well.”

Patterson is ready to get started with the Bulldogs after meeting his new teammates, “All the boys have been great so far, so definitely super excited.

Patterson continued that he is “just excited to get my feet underneath me and get the first shift underway.”

The Bulldogs would like to welcome Patterson and his family to the organization.

The next game for the Blackfalds Bulldogs is tonight, Friday, November 15th, at the Drumheller Memorial Arena against the Drumheller Dragons. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM.

Watch Patterson make his Bulldogs debut on HockeyTV or listen to the game on Mixlr.
