Liam Hoff Commits to McGill University

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are proud to announce that Liam Hoff, a 2006-born defenceman, will be moving on to McGill University for the 2026-2027 season. In his two seasons with the Bulldogs, Hoff compiled 5 goals and 6 assists in 74 games played.

Bulldogs President of Hockey Operations, Doug Quinn, said about Hoff moving on to University, “The Bulldogs organization is excited to hear of Liam’s commitment to McGill University. Liam was a strong contributor to our defensive group over the past 2 seasons. He brought a strong work ethic in both games and practice and was also a great teammate and character player. The Bulldogs organization wishes Liam all the best at McGill University.”

Bulldogs Head Coach, Ryan Tobler, mirrored Quinn’s sentiments about Hoff moving on, “Liam is a tremendous person with an unmatched work ethic. He was a big part of our D-core for the last couple of seasons. He got a great opportunity at McGill University, and I wish him all the best.”

Bulldogs Director of Player Personnel, Al Parada, is excited for Hoff’s next chapter, “I wish Liam all the best in the next chapter of his hockey and education journey. He is a great human being and was a great ambassador for our organization in his time here with the Bulldogs.”
