The Blackfalds Bulldogs are excited to announce the signing of 2007-born defenceman Johnny Crawford for the 2026-2027 season.

Bulldogs Director of Player Personnel, Al Parada, talked about Crawford being a Bulldog next season, “Johnny is a solid 200-foot defenceman who has very good skating ability and puck skills. He defends very well, has a very high hockey IQ, and has the ability to add offence from the back end.”
Crawford talked about why he chose Blackfalds to start his Junior career, “Joining the Bulldogs was an easy decision. After visiting and experiencing the culture, facilities and meeting the coaching staff, I realized it was the best fit for me as a player. Go Bulldogs!”
