BLACKFALDS’ ROSS NAMED ALBERTA DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LANGLEY, B.C. – Blackfalds Bulldogs forward Brendan Ross has been named the Alberta Division Player of the Week.

The Calgary, Alta. native finished last week with five points in two games on three goals and a pair of assists.

Ross kicked his week off by scoring 16 seconds into Friday night’s home game against the Okotoks Oilers. He picked up a helper on the Bulldogs second of the game to guide the team to a 4-3 victory.

On Sunday afternoon, Ross scored twice and added an assist in Blackfalds’ 7-4 defeat at the hands of the Sherwood Park Crusaders.

The University of Alaska commit sits third in points in the Alberta Division with 18 in 14 contests, while his 10 goals are one back of the division lead.

The Bulldogs’ next home game is on Saturday, March 23 at 6:00 pm for 80’s Night.
