Bulldogs Sign Brendan Gillmore

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2005-born defenceman, Brendan Gillmore, to a letter of intent for the 2023-2024 AJHL Season.

The Toronto, Ontario product plays for the Bishop Kearney Selects U18 AAA team in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League.

Gillmore is ready to get going with the Bulldogs, “I’m very excited to play for the Bulldogs and get the chance to play with so many great players. All of the staff were so nice to me when I visited and it was easy to see why they have been so successful in the 2 years they’ve been in the league. The facilities are second to none and to be able to use those was a huge deal to me. I’m excited to become a better player and person and help with the Bulldogs’ success in the coming years.” 

Bulldogs Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, is extremely excited with the addition of Gillmore, “Brendan has a very high hockey IQ on the ice along with great puck skills to make a good first pass and has an offensive side to his game to jump up into the rush and create offence from the back end. We are happy Brendan chose Blackfalds to continue his hockey journey and we look forward to seeing him in a Bulldogs jersey next season.”
