Eligibility:  All Central Alberta Charity, Non-Profit and Community groups. 

How to Apply:  Complete online 50/50 Application and hit submit.

Selection Process: All applications will be reviewed & selected by the Blackfalds Bulldogs Foundation Board of Directors. By applying, it does not mean you are guaranteed to be selected. Selection will be completed by using the broadest and fairest distribution through the various types of Charities.  Once Charities have been selected, they will be contacted by the Foundation.  Please provide as much detail as you can on your intended use of the funds.  

Frequently Asked Questions: 

How many volunteers do we require to send for a game night? 

  • Three (3) volunteers are needed to run the 50/50 credit card only machines (no cash to handle).  If you are setting up a table to promote your charity you will need 1 or 2 volunteers to be present at the table. 

When do we have to arrive and how long do we stay? 

  • All volunteers are asked to meet at the 50/50 podium on the west end of the concourse under the score clock 1.5 hours prior to game time for orientation and distribution of machines and 50/50 bibs.  Selling will commence as soon as doors open and will continue until the end of 2nd intermission.  Once all machines & bibs are turned over to the Foundation 50/50 representative volunteers are free to leave or to stay and enjoy a beverage and cheer on the Bulldogs for the remainder of the game.

How much of the jackpot does the charity receive? 

  • The charity will receive 30% of the jackpot from the game that they volunteered at.  A cheque presentation will be made 45-60 days after the game worked.
